Summary: The role is for an onsite IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT and networking support tasks on a contractual basis. The position involves desktop support, hardware installation, and troubleshooting various operating systems while working flexibly according to availability. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite IT and networking support for casual freelancing tasks.
- Handle Level 1 and Level 2 support tasks including desktop support and hardware installation/replacement.
- Assist with console access to routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage tickets dispatched according to area and availability.
- Perform technical troubleshooting across various operating systems.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in System Desktop Administration and Customer Service.
- Incident, Change, and Release management experience.
- Certification in IT Infrastructure Library and Windows Server Administration.
- Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and wireless LAN issues.
