Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Engineering function of the Whitbread Networks Team.
  • Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design, and standards.
  • Plan and manage Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity tests.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance service and operational efficiency.
  • Implement new network solutions and improve current networks.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership during major incident scenarios.
  • Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members and facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Provide technical training and ensure adherence to best practices.

Key Skills:

  • Lead experience in network engineering.
  • Proficiency in SD WAN, CISCO, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Hands-on network engineering experience.
  • Technical leadership experience.
  • Experience managing external IT service providers.
  • Familiarity with Aruba or Cisco infrastructure devices.
