Summary: The Network Security Engineer role focuses on supporting a large enterprise environment with secure network access, segmentation, and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Support secure network access and segmentation initiatives in a large enterprise environment.
- Implement and manage ISE policies via Cisco DNA Center.
- Drive network automation using templates, APIs, or scripting.
- Integrate Active Directory with ISE for user-based access control.
- Document processes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center.
- Proven experience implementing TrustSec and Security Group Tags.
- Expertise in 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, and NAC solutions.
- Knowledge of Python, REST APIs, or Ansible for automation.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

A client of mine is currently looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to support a large enterprise environment, working on secure network access, segmentation, and automation initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center.
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) & Cisco DNA Center within enterprise-level network environments.
- Solid experience creating & managing ISE policies via Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
- Proven experience implementing TrustSec and Security Group Tags (SGT)
- Expertise in 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, and NAC solutions
- Comfortable integrating Active Directory (AD) with ISE for user-based access control
- Hands-on with Plug and Play (PnP) deployments for Cisco Switches
- Knowledge of Python, REST APIs, or Ansible for automation
- Experience driving network automation using templates, APIs, or Scripting
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Available immediately
- Flexibility to go on site if/when needed
- Cisco Certified (CCIE/CCNP)
- Experience within large enterprise or secure environments preferred.
