Network Engineer

What you will do

Support the implementation and optimisation of public sector systems connectivity.

Design and implement secure network solutions that meet resilience needs.

Configure and manage routing, switching, wireless and wider connectivity services.

Diagnose and resolve network incidents, performance issues and service degradation.

Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery and network resilience planning.

What you will bring

Strong hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, including routing, switching and wireless technologies.

Proven experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting secure, highly available networks.

Experience supporting complex operational environments and resolving priority incidents.

Working knowledge of network security controls, monitoring, resilience and continuity principles.

Clear technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Contract details

Four-month contract - Potential to be extended.

Daily rate: £500-£600 per day.

Hybrid assignment requiring flexibility to travel to and from Jersey for up to three days per week; the on-site pattern may fluctuate.
