General responsibilities
- Driving improved support through completion of operational acceptance into service measures and activities.
- Ensuring smooth running of IT systems particularly in Key areas
- Advise on suitable upgrades concerns of any remedial work in Key areas
Experience required
- Cisco Networks
- Experience of network security products and countermeasure techniques
- Firewalls (FortiGate/Fortinet preferred)
- Virtual Private Networks (VPN's),Encryption and authentication techniques
- Knowledge in TCP/IP routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP
- Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
- F5
- Extensive Experience in Troubleshooting at all levels in the Networking area
- Awareness of WAN connectivity technologies
- ITIL
