- Inputting into High Level Designs
- Creating Low Level designs from approved High Level Designs
- Configuring core infrastructure components such as Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, Authentication servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling
- Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks
- Performing testing to pre-determined plans and analysing results
- Planning surveys for cross/site distribution areas (Fibre) and checking for cabling power/space
- Installing new SDA Switches in readiness for out-of-hours work and testing of new equipment

Based in Barrow 5 days a week f/t - please be aware these roles will may involve rotational out of hours working, anticipating a 16:30 - 23:30 evening shift for 2 weeks, followed by 2 weeks on a standard 7.5 hr day shift - subject to change.
Expenses of up to £100 per day can be claimed
Role Description:

Configuring core infrastructure components eg Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, Authentication servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling.
Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
Performing testing to pre-determined plans and analyse results.
Planning survey's/surveying for cross/site distribution areas ( Fibre ) - checking for cabling power/space (photo's to be taken)
Installing new SDA Switches in readiness for OOH work for installation/take on and testing of kit, providing ELS and decom/removal of old Switches Installation/take on and testing of new SDA kit
