Summary: The role of Network Engineer involves managing and implementing SD-WAN solutions, configuring Cisco networking equipment, and overseeing the installation of network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and connectivity.
- Migration of legacy Network onto new CISCO network.
- Configure and maintain Cisco switches and related networking equipment.
- Oversee the rollout and installation of switches, including cabinet installations.
- Ensure network security by implementing best practices and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to lead projects and ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff and external customers.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Network Engineer, ideally working with Cisco technologies.
- Proven experience with SD-WAN solutions and switching.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols.
- Experience with cabinet installations and physical network setups.
- Knowledge of network security practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

RBW are looking to recruit a skilled Network Engineer for a short 6 month contract inside IR35. Role will require onsite work 3 - 5 days a week in Abingdon Oxfordshire. Inside IR35 Umbrella contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in SD-WAN, CISCO Networking, switching, rollout of switches, cabinet installations, rack and stack as well as broad L3 support experience.
