Summary: We are looking for a Network & Telephony Engineer with expertise in networking and telephony deployment, particularly with Microsoft Teams. The role involves configuring and deploying network infrastructure and unified communication solutions in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with switch configuration and troubleshooting. This position is based in Aberdeen and is a 3-month contract, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in networking and switch configuration (eg, Cisco, Aruba, HP, etc.)
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN principles, routing, and switching
- Experience with Microsoft Teams telephony deployment and support
- Familiarity with SBCs (Session Border Controllers) and voice gateway configuration
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network Switches and related infrastructure
- Deploy and configure telephony systems, with a focus on Microsoft Teams Voice
- Ensure smooth rollout of network and voice solutions
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to minimise downtime
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
