Summary: The Network Engineer role requires a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in Layer 2/3 switching and routing, specifically with CCNP certification. Key Responsibilities:
- Deep hands-on expertise in Layer 2/3 switching and routing ideally practising CCNP.
- Self-starting mindset to own, scope, and deliver packages of work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid experience with routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs) and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Lead vendor migrations from Juniper to Fortinet and Palo Alto.
- Understand and operate within nationally restricted infrastructure standards.
- Dive into legacy systems to understand historical issues and help clean up technical debt.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Layer 2/3 switching and routing.
- CCNP certification.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
- Firewall project experience, specifically with Fortinet and Palo Alto.
