Network Deployment Engineer (Contract)
Location: Manchester
Contract Length: 3 Weeks
Start Date: 10th August
Rate: £250 per day (Via Umbrella)
We are looking for a Network Deployment Engineer to join a short-term project. This is a hands-on role requiring practical experience with Cisco networking equipment, including switch installation, configuration, software upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy Cisco switch stacks.
- Connect power supplies and patch uplink connections.
- Upgrade Cisco IOS-XE software across network devices.
- Complete basic switch configuration and verification tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common networking issues.
- Install, configure, and support Cisco Catalyst Switches and wireless access points (APs).
- Assist with network deployment activities, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure all work is completed to project standards and within agreed timescales.
