Summary: The Network & Cybersecurity Engineer role in Edinburgh involves leading cybersecurity initiatives within product development, focusing on risk management and the implementation of cybersecurity guidelines. The position requires hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines and a strong understanding of network and cybersecurity practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge on Software development, lifecycle and Agile development process
  • Hands-on experience in creating Dev Ops Pipeline, containerization etc.
  • Experience on Cyber Security concepts for Software / product development, capability of analyzing cyber vulnerabilities and providing mitigation steps
  • Capability to set up process for Cyber Security guidelines for Product development and setting up tools for enforcing those guidelines
  • Risk identification and management
  • Data management and analysis
  • Take a leadership role in strategizing with internal staff and customers to solve and prevent re-occurrence of issues
  • Engage with customers on day to day issues; organize customer calls to facilitate implementation of solutions and Cyber Security guidelines
  • Knowledge transfer – write user/technical documentation and case notes
  • Act as a technical resource for staff
  • Mentors staff in troubleshooting and analysis methods
  • Primary contributor to Knowledge Base system for customer specific issues that will benefit the greater customer and support team
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues involving all aspects of customer solutions
  • Adhere to all Quality processes
  • Ability to be part of an on-call rotation for after business hour customer calls
  • Ability to travel to customer sites
