Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development of network security automation

  • Liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Investigating and resolving issues within the managed service environment
  • Ensuring policies, documentation, and processes are kept accurate and compliant

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in network automation and scripting
  • Proficiency with Python and familiarity with Ansible and/or Terraform

Working with a high-profile financial enterprise client, you’ll help drive forward the automation of firewall and policy pipelines within a complex data centre environment. This is a 3-month contract opportunity, offering the chance to make an immediate impact on an enterprise-scale infrastructure project.

Role & Responsibilities

As the Network Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and building automated security policy pipelines. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the project team, ensuring code is robust, monitoring is in place, and documentation aligns with SLA requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of network security automation
  • Writing Python scripts and working with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
