Summary: The Network Architect role in Reading involves designing and implementing custom telecom solutions, focusing on network integration and service assurance within the telecommunications sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement custom telecom solutions, utilizing expertise in fixed broadband, fiber networks, NNI/NTD/ONU configurations, and network integration.
• Lead the integration of various network systems, ensuring seamless configuration and smooth interconnection across systems.
• Oversee data integration and segregation, ensuring that the billing processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
• Apply industry frameworks such as SID, e-TOM, TAM, and ITIL to improve solution designs and align with industry best practices.
• Act as a liaison between the CIO (Applications/Systems) and CTO (Networks), ensuring alignment on solution design and implementation strategies.
• Ensure service quality and efficiency by actively applying service assurance practices, monitoring performance, and resolving issues proactively.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of telecom network architecture, including BSS/OSS, and design solutions that cater to customer needs while maintaining system scalability and security.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 10+ years in telecom solutions design and integration, with a strong background in network integration, BSS/OSS, and service assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of network architecture, fixed broadband, fiber technologies, and the integration of network elements such as NNI, NTD, and ONU.
• Proficiency in applying industry frameworks (SID, e-TOM, TAM, ITIL) to design and implement solutions.
• Proven experience in creating and delivering detailed end-to-end solution designs for telecom systems.
