Summary: The Network Architect is responsible for planning, assessing, designing, implementing, and managing data and security networks, including LANs, WANs, SDWAN, and Cloud Networks. This role involves leading a network team, evaluating business requirements, and ensuring network security and performance. The architect will also coordinate with vendors and maintain documentation while staying updated on the latest network technologies. The position requires extensive experience and technical expertise in network architecture and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Network team and guide them on Assess, Plan, Design, Implementation of Network devices - LAN, WLAN, SDWAN
- Assess and understand the Customer Network
- Design and Build Networks: Plan, Develop and implement network architectures, including LANs, WANs, WLANs, Network Security and SDWAN Network. HLD/LLD Documents.
- Evaluate Business Requirements: Tailor network solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Implementation: Implementation, Refresh, Migration of LAN, WLAN and SDWAN network.
- Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
- Network Security: Ensure network security through proper design and configuration, Implement Firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
- Monitor Network Performance: Analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex network issues to maintain network efficiency, performance
- Coordinate with Vendors: Assist in BOM, Procure networking equipment and software.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of networks and network equipment, documentation of network configurations, designs, and changes
- Recommendation: Suggest improvements to ensure network capacity meets increasing demands.
- Provide Technical Support: Offer guidance to network administrators and IT staff.
- Research & Development: Stay updated on the latest network technologies and advancements to optimize network performance, and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work with IT and management teams to establish network requirements and ensure the network meets business goals
- Involve in Procuring of network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
Key Skills:
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in network Architect.
- Certifications: CCNP, CCIE
- Skills: Proficiency in network architecture, understanding of network technology SDWAN (PaloAlto ION), Cloud Wifi, Cisco LAN, protocols and security requirements, and the ability to design and implement reliable network infrastructure.
