Summary: The role of Network Architect involves designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) within a large healthcare organization. The position requires a skilled professional with expertise in data center networking and software-defined networking, specifically with Cisco ACI technologies. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model, spending three days onsite in central London, and will be responsible for ensuring efficient and secure network operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design scalable, high-performing, and secure Cisco ACI-based network solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical roadmaps.
- Provide expertise in the architecture and deployment of Cisco ACI fabric and related components.
- Deploy and configure Cisco ACI fabric, including APIC controllers, leaf, and spine switches.
- Integrate Cisco ACI with existing network environments and third-party solutions.
- Manage the lifecycle of ACI policies, including tenant, application profiles, EPGs, contracts, and filters.
- Automate network operations using tools such as Ansible, Python, or Cisco's APIs.
- Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot ACI-related issues.
- Optimize the Cisco ACI environment for efficiency, security, and compliance.
- Maintain documentation for network designs, configurations, and processes.
- Provide 3rd-level support for complex network issues related to ACI.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide training on Cisco ACI concepts and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, applications, and infrastructure.
