Network Architect

Summary: The Network Architect role is a 6-month contract position based in London, requiring an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of a secure and scalable network architecture for a major client. The position involves collaboration with various teams and oversight of network equipment deployment. The role is classified as inside IR35 and offers a hybrid working arrangement. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable, and resilient network architecture.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, and risk assessments.
• Oversee configuration and deployment of Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper equipment.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with technical and business requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews, capacity planning, and support governance processes.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Network Architecture and enterprise network design.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of firewall design, segmentation, and hybrid environments.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
