Summary: The Network Architect role involves designing, implementing, and evolving network architecture for a critical program, requiring deep technical expertise and strategic leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Network Architect responsible for key aspects of design, implementation and evolution of network architecture for the programme.
- Role requires deep network technical expertise and strategic planning and leadership skills to ensure delivery of a mission critical, robust, highly resilient, scalable, secure and high-performing network solution.
- Candidates need to work closely with the Design Authority team, Data Center Infrastructure Supplier and Security Teams to align the overall network approach and delivery.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record in network architecture / engineering and network delivery on-prem and integration with Cloud solutions in a complex large-scale programme.
- Expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, VPN, Data Center LAN, Data Center WAN, DNS and network segmentation.
- Familiarity with Network Automation and monitoring tooling.
- In-depth understanding of network security principles.
- Experience in supplier management and contract negotiations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, team leadership and communications skills.
Salary (Rate): £715 daily
