This role requires holding active SC Clearance or being eligible for SC Clearance
The Primary skills/responsibilities are as follows:
- Working with networking infrastructure including Cisco Switches, Firewalls, Routers, ISE, F5 load-balancers, Juniper SRX, and SolarWinds monitoring
- Knowledge of a wide range of networking concepts and technologies including: IPSec - site to site
- Layer 2 eg STP, VPC, VLAN, OTV
- Layer 3 eg IP, VRF, OSPF, QoS, IDS, HSRP, GRE F5 LTM, Big DNS (GTM)
- CCNP level understanding.
- Documenting solutions into HLDs and LLDs as well as overseeing the overall network configuration management
- Providing Networking leadership within the organisation and for the client when required
- Evaluating Networking technology choices to address client requirements
- Promoting best practise, standardisation, security, policies, and automation
