Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide network architecture capability, gathering and analysing technical options for network refreshment to enhance performance and security.
  • Work on simplifying network management while modernising capabilities, with a focus on potentially implementing a SASE solution.
  • Contribute to the Architecture Review Board, ensuring that network designs align with organisational goals and security standards.
  • Engage in requirements gathering across various network-focused projects, ensuring thorough documentation and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Review and update existing network documentation to reflect current needs and future goals.

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in Networks, including expertise in Routing, Switches, and SASE; familiarity with CISCO environments is essential.
  • Proven track record in Network Design, capable of creating and implementing comprehensive Network Architecture Design Documents.
  • Extensive experience in Network Security, ensuring robust protection across all networked systems.
  • Significant involvement in Architecture Review Boards, contributing to strategic discussions and decisions.
  • Strong skills in Requirements Gathering and Documentation Reviews, with a focus on network-focused projects.

Salary (Rate): £550 daily

Start Date: ASAP Reed Professional Services is seeking a Network Architect to join a leading organisation in the advanced manufacturing are seeking for a three-month contract, with potential for extension. This role is crucial for the client's Digital Innovation Program, which aims to transform its technology landscapes across various domains.

Day-to-day of the role: Provide network architecture capability, gathering and analysing technical options for network refreshment to enhance performance and security. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Networks, including expertise in Routing, Switches, and SASE; familiarity with CISCO environments is essential, but openness to other options is preferred. Extensive experience in Network Security, ensuring robust protection across all networked systems.
