Network Architect

Summary: The role of Network Architect involves leading enterprise network design, governance, and delivery for a Global Services Provider. The position requires expertise in Palo Alto Networks and Cisco ACI, with a focus on creating secure and scalable network architectures. This is an initial 6-month contract role based in Coventry, requiring two days a week in the office. The role is classified as inside IR35 with a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document secure, scalable enterprise network architectures across data centre and hybrid environments.
• Lead Cisco ACI fabric designs, integrations, and policy automation.
• Architect and implement Palo Alto security solutions, including Next-Gen Firewalls and Prisma Access (SASE).
• Participate in architectural governance (HLDs, TDAs) and gain design approvals.
• Provide technical leadership during delivery, ensuring adherence to standards and security principles.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience in network engineering, including 3-5 years in architecture/design.
• Proven experience with Palo Alto and Cisco ACI in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure Networking) are desirable.
• Experience with Cisco ACI Data Centre, Palo Alto Firewalls, etc.
