Summary: The Network Architect role involves overseeing the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure for a key client in Denmark. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and to provide guidance during complex infrastructure projects. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge in network planning and troubleshooting, as well as experience with various network technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including network architects and IT teams, to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Participate in the development of network infrastructure plans and designs, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to network engineering and operations teams during the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex network issues and provide technical recommendations for resolution.
- Drive work according to organization global infrastructure standards, configure network devices, and stay updated with the latest developments in global standards.
Key Skills:
- Routing, Switching, Firewall, Cisco, Network design and documentation, Infoblox, Cisco ISE, 802.1x, IPAM, Visio, ServiceNow.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in handling and troubleshooting networks with static and dynamic routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9500 / 9600 IOS XE switches; knowledge of Nexus switches is desirable.
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless solutions with 9800 series controllers.
- Understanding of management tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, and IPAM.
- Knowledge and implementation experience with Panorama and Palo Alto firewall.
- Experience onboarding, configuring, and managing network devices using Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNAC).
- Technical certifications: CCNA (Routing and Switching), CCNP (Routing and Switching), and TOGAF or similar (desirable).
