Network Architect

Summary: The Network Architect role is a 6-month contract position based in London, requiring the candidate to design, implement, and manage data and security networks, including LAN, WAN, and SDWAN. The position involves leading a network team, analyzing customer networks, and ensuring network security. The role demands extensive experience and relevant certifications in network architecture. The successful candidate will work three days a week in the office and is expected to have a strong technical background in networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Network team in assessing, designing, and implementing LAN, WLAN, and SDWAN solutions.
• Analyse customer networks and business need to develop tailored network architectures (HLD/LLD).
• Deploy, migrate, and maintain LAN/WAN/SDWAN infrastructures for optimal performance and reliability.
• Ensure network security through effective design, configuration, and implementation of Firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Monitor network performance, perform capacity planning, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Manage vendors, BOMs, and procurement of networking equipment and software.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience working as a Network Architect
• CCNP and CCIE Certified (essential)
• Proficiency in network architecture and a solid understanding of network related technologies
• Tech Stack: SDWAN, Cloud Wifi, Cisco Lan.

Salary (Rate): £450 daily

We're looking for a Network Architect on behalf of a Global Services Provider where you will design, implement, and manage data, security networks including LAN, WAN, and SDWAN.

As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for:
