Summary: The Network Architect role involves designing and delivering secure network solutions as part of the One Network Programme, focusing on enhancing user connectivity and mitigating cyber risks. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in network architecture. Candidates should possess extensive experience in network infrastructure and cybersecurity. This is a full-time contract position based in Bristol, with a hybrid working arrangement of two days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver robust, sustainable, and secure network solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Group Security, CTO, and the One Network Programme to propose innovative solutions that add business value.
  • Drive continuous product improvement and evolution in network architecture.
  • Manage selection, design, and secure build & integration for network products.
  • Facilitate effective communication among functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery and support for network solutions.
  • Provide expert insight into complex architectural concepts and strategies.

Key Skills:

  • Proven expertise in network architecture, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco products and experience with SASE, VPN, and Firewalling technologies.
  • Experience within network infrastructure, SOS, network Design and CCIE certification is essential.
  • Working experience in Cisco products for LAN, Wireless and NAC with an ongoing vendor selection.
  • Implementation and management of other LAN, Wireless and SDWAN solutions.
  • Senior expertise in Network Domain in an international and Matrix organization.
  • Understanding of today's Network and infrastructure challenges and trends, mostly at Infrastructure and Technical levels.
  • Experience in technical coordination and stakeholder management within a multi-cultural, global environment.
  • Ability to analyse business and technical requirements and recommend efficient technological designs.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale network projects and transformations.
  • A solid grasp of automation and network management platforms.
  • Experience designing wireless and wired standards for diverse environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions and advanced security measures.
  • Strong communication skills in English (mandatory).
