Summary: The Network Architect role requires a DV cleared professional to lead the implementation of technical network infrastructure within a collaborative agile team. The position involves delivering complex network solutions for high-impact projects while ensuring performance optimization and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the architectural design and governance of technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical implementation of medium to large-scale network infrastructures to defined project timelines
- Provide end-to-end support including installation, troubleshooting, resolution, and proactive maintenance
- Liaise with project SMEs to ensure performance optimisation and high customer satisfaction
- Contribute to architectural design, implementation, and governance of technical solutions
- Independently implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching based on design documentation
- Designing and deploying LAN networks in accordance with JSP 604 standards
- Creating and managing as-fitted documentation and handling ECR processes with customer authorities
- Proactively identifying and resolving technical issues, working with third parties when necessary
- Ensuring system performance remains within SLA parameters
- Supporting continuous improvement through adoption of new tools, technologies and best practices
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Juniper or Cisco networking technologies
- Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects on time and to specification
- Deep understanding of architecture frameworks and experience developing compliant solution components
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to assess business requirements and align technical solutions accordingly
