Summary: The Network Architect role requires an experienced professional with active DV clearance to support complex project deployments in secure environments. The position involves providing advanced technical support for installation, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of network solutions that adhere to Defence standards. The architect will also manage Engineering Change Requests and ensure compliance with architectural standards and long-term technology strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Support project deployment activities including LAN implementation, infrastructure patching, and fault resolution.
- Advise subject matter experts on configuration adjustments and preventive maintenance.
- Independently implement LAN networks in line with design specifications and compliance with JSP 604.
- Manage Engineering Change Requests and create documentation packs.
- Coordinate customer authority sign off and ensure solutions align with architectural standards.
- Support changes across service, process, and operating models as required.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Juniper or Cisco network equipment.
- Proven capability with F5 load balancing technologies.
- Experience implementing LAN designs and infrastructure within secure Defence environments.
- Knowledge of ECR processes, governance, and formal documentation requirements.
