Summary: The role of Netsuite Finance Transformation Specialist involves leading transformative changes within the finance function of a growing Real Estate business. The specialist will focus on redesigning and optimizing financial processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability, while also mapping workflows and conducting gap analyses. This hands-on position requires a detail-oriented problem solver who can implement structured and automated financial operations aligned with ERP capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance transformation and systems accounting, particularly with NetSuite ERP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and visualise current-state financial workflows across key functions (AP, AR, Debt, Direct Debits, Trial Balance, Management Accounts, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Payroll and reporting functions).
- Analyse interdependencies, bottlenecks, and manual interventions impacting performance and compliance.
- Identify inefficiencies in systems architecture, team capabilities, reporting structures, and data flows.
- Translate findings into actionable transformation roadmaps with measurable KPIs.
- Design and implement future-state processes that increase accuracy, reduce processing time, and eliminate duplication.
- Align redesigned workflows with NetSuite, leveraging automation opportunities and scalable solutions.
- Lead documentation and SOP creation for all re-engineered processes, ensuring control and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Net Suite Consultant to validate and embed new processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Serve as the systems expert on process optimisation, championing a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support upskilling across the finance team by sharing process knowledge and technical best practice.
- Drive improvements in system data integrity, reporting accuracy, and turnaround efficiency.
Key Skills:
- Experience in systems accounting or finance transformation roles, with proven project delivery across SMEs or multi-entity environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading finance optimisation programmes, including process redesign and ERP enhancements.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experienced in change management, and user training during transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP including report design and system mapping highly desirable.
- Qualifications ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
