Summary: The NetSuite Finance Consultant role involves optimizing and developing the client's NetSuite ERP system, focusing on financial processes and user support. The consultant will lead system configuration, support financial processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system functionality. This position requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, along with hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration and optimisation of NetSuite financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)
- Translate business requirements into effective NetSuite solutions
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes within the system
- Develop reports, dashboards, and saved searches to improve financial visibility
- Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to drive system improvements
- Provide user training and ongoing support
- Assist with integrations, data migrations, and system upgrades where required
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a NetSuite Finance Consultant or similar role
- Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP (ideally with certifications)
- Experience with system implementations or enhancements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- NetSuite certifications (e.g. SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant) - desirable
- Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or integrations - desirable
- Background in accounting or finance (ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred) - desirable
