The role involves relocating Veritas NetBackup infrastructure and ensuring a smooth transition with minimal risk. A Veritas-certified engineer is required onsite for the lift-and-shift activity. Key responsibilities include managing cabling and assisting with hardware errors during the transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cabling between the storage shelf and the appliance, ensuring proper power-up of both components.
- Provide assistance in case of any hardware errors during the activity.
- Rack and stack activities will be handled by the Data Centre management team.
