Summary: The .NET Solutions Architect will lead a transformation project aimed at redesigning a fragmented PHP environment into a stable and scalable system, ensuring integration with Magento Infrastructure. This role involves auditing the current technical setup, developing a strategic roadmap, and collaborating with the Web Development team to implement robust technical solutions. The architect will also establish a framework for transitioning to permanent development resources post-remediation. This position is a 3-month contract with a focus on long-term system stability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Audit & Assessment: Evaluate the existing setup, particularly the integration between Magento, Sage200 and their WMS system, to identify gaps and weaknesses.
• Strategic Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive programme of work and detailed pipelines to systematically address and remediate identified issues.
• Design & Architecture: Define robust technical solutions using .NET (version 8 or 9) and C# (version 12 or 13), integrating open-source technologies where applicable.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Web Development team to ensure the technical strategy aligns with overall business goals and is practically implementable.
• Transition Planning: Establish a framework that enables a smooth handover to permanent development resources following the initial remediation phase.
