Summary: The .Net Solution Architect role involves supporting project delivery by developing and evolving Information System architecture solutions that align with company frameworks. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure compliance with architecture governance. The architect will also engage in research and design to propose technologies that complement business strategies. This is a hybrid role based in Solihull, England, for a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve existing and future IS architecture based on set architecture principles.
- Design .NET and data solutions in collaboration with security and production infrastructure stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project team members in defining functional scope for projects.
- Engage with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps for IT solutions.
- Support project managers in creating project build plans and cost estimations.
- Assess solutions and create technology or application roadmaps.
- Support the delivery of the Enterprise Architecture capability.
- Manage projects through appropriate governance processes and assist project teams with architecture briefs.
- Engage in research and design to evaluate and propose technologies.
Key Skills:
- Over 5+ years in an IT Architecture role, preferably within Financial Services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to operate across multiple engagements concurrently.
- Experience developing .Net applications and architecting Microsoft .NET applications.
- Experience with SQL server, Kubernetes, Postgres, NoSQL.
- Knowledge of TOGAF and ITIL.
- Methodical, organized, and results-driven communicator with attention to detail.
- Adaptability and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Desirable: TOGAF Practitioner certification, ITIL certification, experience with architecture tools.
