Summary: The .Net Software Engineer role at a global Energy Trading Company offers an opportunity to contribute to the transformation of a traditional Oil & Gas enterprise into a leader in future-focused Energy solutions. The position involves working on innovative projects within a new Power Trading desk, utilizing advanced technologies to meet the evolving demands of the Energy sector. Candidates will collaborate with top professionals in the industry and engage in solution consultation and development. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution consultation and development in accordance with enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices.
- Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests, and documentation.
- Contribution to functional excellence in defining and maintaining standards, methods, and tools, incorporating best practices from market standard implementations.
- Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premises solutions, cloud, and legacy systems.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of relevant software development experience in front-end, back-end, cloud automation, and orchestration.
- Proficient in .NET Core 6+ with Azure Services.
- Proficient in SQL Databases, No SQL, Cloud Datastores.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Durable Functions, Azure Service Bus, or Confluent Kafka.
- Hands-on development & deployment using App Services & Azure SQL Database.
- Proficient in Cloud Native Deployment with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions into serverless containers (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong initiative, excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment.
