Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and building scalable, low-latency systems supporting LNG trading activities
- Leveraging AI/LLM tooling to accelerate software delivery (coding, testing, debugging, documentation)
- Developing and integrating AI-driven workflows and agent-based architectures into trading platforms
- Building APIs, services, and data pipelines across Front Office LNG systems
- Working closely with traders, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions
- Driving agile delivery practices - owning backlog items, contributing to sprint cadence, and improving engineering efficiency
- Contributing to architecture across event-driven systems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms
Key Skills:
- Strong software engineering experience across modern, distributed systems
- Hands-on experience or genuine passion for AI-assisted development/LLM-driven workflows
- Experience within cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Proven delivery in agile teams with strong ownership of backlog and delivery cadence
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Ability to engage with Front Office stakeholders in a trading environment
- Experience in LNG, gas trading, or wider commodities markets would be highly advantageous
