Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Neighbourhood housing officer for a Local Authority Client in North London.

In this role, you will engage with the community, address housing needs, and help improve life in the borough's neighbourhoods.

Duties:

  • Support residents with housing issues and queries.
  • Respond to complaints and ensure policy compliance.
  • Work with the community to maintain and improve neighbourhoods.
  • Build relationships and promote a safe, vibrant local environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience in housing, community support, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and building trust.

What's on offer:

Salary: £27+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
