National Inventory Manager

What you'll be doing

• Lead demand forecasting and order planning with cross-functional teams to prevent stockouts and overstocking, balancing cost and responsiveness.
• Design and maintain stock management systems, ERP processes, and KPI dashboards for end-to-end visibility.
• Own inventory costs, optimise working capital, and advise on cost reduction strategies.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, ensure compliance, and manage the annual stock take.
• Build and lead a high-performing inventory team, managing stock decisions across multiple sites and subcontractors.
• Develop inventory dashboards, KPI reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor bulk stock orders to minimise obsolescence and maintain accurate records.

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience managing multi-site inventory in a global or complex organisation.
• Strong expertise with ERP, SAP, or MRP systems.
• Deep understanding of stock control and inventory optimisation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proven operational decision-making skills and experience setting KPIs to reduce lead times.
• Excellent communication skills to convey insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to a dynamic environment.
