Summary: The National Account Manager for Campari Group will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and driving sales performance within the UK on-trade sector. This role requires a strategic and commercially minded individual who can develop and implement business plans to achieve financial targets while fostering collaboration across teams. The successful candidate will report to the National Account Controller and will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's market presence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to increase business performance and profitability.
- Structure, implement, and manage joint business plans with customers to meet volume and margin targets.
- Enhance Campari's relationship with key customers through collaborative partnerships.
- Ensure commercial accountability for targeted objectives and secure new business.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across the commercial team.
- Analyze consumer and sales data for comprehensive customer proposals.
- Maintain awareness of the spirits market to adapt business plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other functions, including Marketing and Finance, to support brand activations.
- Identify growth opportunities through analysis of customer and market performance.
- Deliver accurate financial and volume forecasts.
- Support the National Account Controller in maintaining a coordinated commercial position.
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the UK drinks industry, preferably on-trade.
- Strong understanding of the UK on-trade spirits market.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to derive insights from data and implement brand plans.
- Robust commercial understanding with strong numerical skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience working with MPO and Regional on-trade groups is desired.
