Summary: The Mulesoft Architect role in London involves leading the architecture, design, and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define API-led connectivity strategies.
  • Design and document integration patterns, data flows, and API specifications (RAML/OAS).
  • Provide hands-on development support for complex MuleSoft flows, DataWeave transformations, and API policies.
  • Oversee the full API lifecycle – from design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Integrate MuleSoft with MongoDB and other back-end systems where applicable.
  • Define best practices for security, performance, and scalability of integration solutions.
  • Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership across projects.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in integration architecture with at least 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience.
  • Strong expertise in API design (RESTful APIs, RAML/OpenAPI) and API Management.
  • Experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Runtime, API Manager, and Exchange.
  • Proficiency in DataWeave, Mule connectors, and custom policies.
  • Solid understanding of MongoDB and its integration with MuleSoft.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
