Summary: The MSW Principle Engineer role is a contract position based in London, focusing on enhancing software delivery pipelines and developer experiences within a financial services environment. The engineer will collaborate with feature teams to create scalable and reusable application patterns, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and design software delivery pipelines and application patterns.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance developer experience and reduce constraints in development.
- Develop scalable, reusable, and well-documented application patterns for high-quality software delivery.
- Understand and implement microservice architecture and cloud services integration.
- Share knowledge of tools and techniques with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Lead and contribute to design meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Perform requirements analysis and produce technical documentation.
- Validate technical solutions and produce test plans.
- Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Maintain quality systems and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
- Demonstrate analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
- Implement key business applications through testing and into live service.
