MODERN WORKPLACE INTEGRATION ENGINEER
London | 6-Month Contract
Modern Workplace integration engineer needed for an Alternative Investment client, during a critical organisational integration. You'll migrate and consolidate Microsoft 365 environments (SharePoint, Intune, identity infrastructure) - managing phased rollout across disconnected systems into unified infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Identity & Integration
- Architect and execute identity provider migration and integration (managing multiple directory services)
- Consolidate users, groups, and permissions across different identity platforms
- Design single sign-on (SSO) and conditional access policies for merged organisation
- Ensure seamless authentication across all modern workplace services
Integration & Migration
- Design and execute phased SharePoint consolidation (building new tenants, consolidating org structures)
- Migrate Windows environments across organizations
- Design permission structures for unified platform
- Navigate disconnected systems into cohesive infrastructure
Essential:
- Hands-on experience managing multiple identity platforms (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, or similar)
- Proven identity provider migration or consolidation experience
- Deep hands-on Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure AD/Entra ID expertise
- Strong SharePoint knowledge (architecture, not administration)
- PowerShell Scripting and automation
- Comfortable with phased migrations across disconnected systems
Additional Skills:
- Windows OS and networking knowledge
- SSO, conditional access, and directory service configuration
- Problem-solver who debugs complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication skills
