Summary: The Modern Slavery (MS) and Organised Immigration Crime (OIC) National Training Development Specialist role with Devon & Cornwall Police focuses on delivering training to enhance the policing response to modern slavery and organised immigration crime across the UK. The position involves collaboration with various agencies and NGOs to improve training quality and consistency. The successful candidate will travel to various locations for in-person training while also providing online sessions. This is a fixed-term role with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility in work location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training priorities set by the NPCC and Home Office for front-line policing.
- Review and supply training on a national level to assist police forces in identifying and training their staff.
- Work closely with statutory agencies and NGOs to improve police responses to OIC and MS.
- Develop and deliver various training courses to police officers, police staff, and NGOs.
- Travel to training locations across the UK and deliver training both in-person and online.
Key Skills:
