Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle, system, and component modal testing to meet gateway requirements.
- Conduct lab-based transfer function measurements for road, powertrain, and simulator NVH investigations.
- Collaborate with CAE teams to improve correlation between test data and simulations.
- Maintain the Gaydon Modal Lab, ensuring compliance with calibration standards.
- Support taskforce activities for complex NVH problem-solving.
- Develop and update method statements for modal and systems testing.
Key Skills:
- Experience in modal testing, including impact hammer testing & shaker equipment.
- Strong knowledge of NVH signal processing, modal analysis, and transfer function analysis.
- Ability to plan, execute, and report high-quality test data.
- Strong communication skills to present complex NVH findings.
- Experience working in a small team, including mentoring junior/apprentice staff.
- Hands-on capability to set up tests, design fixtures, and work with workshop teams.
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Acoustics, or related field) or equivalent experience (desirable).
- Experience in automotive NVH testing (preferred but not mandatory).

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting modal testing, transfer function analysis, and structural NVH assessments to support vehicle development and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle, system, and component modal testing to meet gateway requirements.
- Conduct lab-based transfer function measurements (e.g., Transfer Path Analysis) for road, powertrain, and simulator NVH investigations.
- Collaborate with CAE teams to improve correlation between test data and simulations.
- Maintain the Gaydon Modal Lab, ensuring compliance with calibration standards.
- Support taskforce activities for complex NVH problem-solving.
- Develop and update method statements for modal and systems testing.
