Summary: The Mobile SDET role requires a highly skilled individual with 8-10 years of experience in testing iOS and Android mobile applications, particularly within the Retail/E-Commerce domain. The candidate should possess strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and be adept in both automation and manual testing. The position is hybrid, allowing for remote work with some on-site presence in Seattle or Vancouver. Excellent communication skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Functional, Regression, Exploratory, Smoke, and End-to-End testing for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Validate core mobile workflows including login/OTP, checkout, payments, push notifications, and order management.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and Business teams to clarify requirements and identify edge cases.
- Prepare test execution reports and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
- Execute testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and network conditions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release validation activities.
Key Skills:
- 8-10 years of QA experience with strong expertise in Automation, Manual, and Mobile Functional Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience testing native and hybrid mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Experience with Mobile Automation using JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, and Appium.
