Summary: The Mobile Estate Cleaner role involves maintaining and cleaning communal areas for a Housing Association in South London. The position requires individuals with experience in cleaning services and a proactive approach to health and safety. The role is mobile, necessitating a full UK driving license, and offers the potential for permanent employment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties in communal areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and litter picking.
  • Sweep, disinfect, and maintain refuse chutes, bins, and bin areas.
  • Use machinery for deep cleaning when required, with training provided.
  • Report repairs or defects in communal areas to the maintenance department or line manager.
  • Provide cover in the absence of colleagues and assist residents with inquiries.
  • Highlight the needs of vulnerable customers to the line manager or Housing Team.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with residents and visitors.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety legislation and use provided safety equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required that are consistent with the role.
