Summary: The Mobile Engineer role focuses on providing technical leadership for mobile initiatives within a leading technology organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical oversight across iOS and Android delivery streams
- Reviewing technical direction and architectural decisions
- Supporting and challenging engineering teams where required
- Ensuring delivery aligns with agreed technical standards and best practices
- Identifying and correcting technical drift across programmes
- Translating code-level understanding into delivery and architectural decisions
- Working closely with distributed nearshore and offshore engineering teams
- Driving consistency across multiple mobile initiatives

We're supporting a leading technology organisation that is looking for a Mobile Engineer to provide technical leadership across a portfolio of mobile initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who sits between architecture, engineering, and delivery. The role is not focused on writing code day-to-day, but it does require someone with sufficient technical depth to challenge engineering decisions, assess delivery quality, and guide teams towards the right technical outcomes.
You'll be joining an environment with significant mobile project demand and multiple delivery workstreams already underway. The challenge isn't a lack of engineering capacity - it's ensuring delivery teams are building the right solutions, following appropriate architectural patterns, and maintaining technical quality throughout the life cycle.
