Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio including sole traders, partners, HNWI, non-UK doms, non-residents, and trusts
  • Prepare and submit P11d forms for a range of businesses
  • Prepare and submit corporate tax returns
  • Advise individuals and companies on their complex tax issues
  • Prepare and submit HMRC forms (e.g. ATED returns, capital gains returns)
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Assist with tax advisory projects for existing clients and prospective clients
  • Manage client billing processes

Key Skills:

  • At least 4 years' experience with a UK practice
  • ACA/ACCA or ATT qualified
  • Experience in both corporate and personal tax
  • Proficient with IRIS or similar software

Are you currently looking for a new position where you will have compete autonomy of a portfolio, work closely with highly reputable partners and work within a growing, supportive and friendly environment? I am currently representing an independent accountancy firm seeking a mixed tax senior to join their growing team. This position involved managing a portfolio of clients and delivering both compliance and advisory services to these clients. The workload is expected to be roughly 70% personal tax and 30% corporate tax.

The role:

  • Prepare and review personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio including, sole traders, partners, HNWI, non-UK doms, non-residents and trusts
