Summary: The Migration Account Manager at Elexon will lead supplier engagement and drive migration delivery as part of the Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) Programme. This role involves acting as the primary contact for suppliers, ensuring compliance with migration obligations, and facilitating the transition of approximately 33 million MPANs to new settlement arrangements. The position requires strong stakeholder management and communication skills to support operational excellence and continuous improvement in account management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for allocated supplier portfolios during the MHHS migration phase
  • Provide expert guidance on the MHHS Migration Framework, sprint structure, processes and key milestones
  • Support suppliers with sprint planning, tracking plans versus actuals and driving adherence to agreed migration schedules
  • Monitor migration activity to identify early deviations and oversee rectification plans
  • Remove obstacles and work collaboratively with programme teams to protect migration execution
  • Maintain accurate records of participant engagement and migration progress
  • Build strong, proactive relationships with participants through regular engagement and updates
  • Identify potential impacts on participants and recommend effective communication approaches
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of account management and engagement practices
  • Represent the programme’s position clearly and confidently across internal and external stakeholders
  • Support operational excellence within the Migration Control Centre

Key Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with the confidence to influence and engage participants at all levels
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to track performance, monitor delivery against plans and drive accountability
  • Strong presentation skills in formal environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with ownership of delivery
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong focus on participant/customer value and delivering high-quality outcomes at pace

Join Elexon as a Migration Account Manager: lead supplier engagement, drive migration delivery, and help deliver the biggest transformation of the electricity market since privatisation. We’re looking for an Migration Account Manager (Grade 10) to play a pivotal role in the Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) Programme , supporting the successful migration of around 33 million MPANs to new settlement arrangements. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, ensuring they meet their migration obligations and deliver against agreed sprint plans — helping enable a smarter, more flexible, Net Zero energy system.
