Summary: The Middleware Engineer role requires a solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and basic experience with Java-based applications or Middleware systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Basic experience with Java-based applications or Middleware systems
- Understanding of web services and APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries; understanding of database concepts
- Exposure to application Servers or Middleware platforms (eg, WebLogic, ESB, SOA, API gateways)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar
- Basic Scripting skills (Shell, Python, or equivalent)
