Summary: A leading European Commodity Trading firm is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to enhance their Middle and Back office functions for an initial 6-month contract. The role involves supporting, administering, and maintaining production applications while managing team activities and stakeholder communications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application support within a fast-paced environment. This position is based in London and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support, administer, monitor, maintain and operate all Middle and Back Office Production applications
• Deliver the on-going application release cycle changes and on-boarding of new applications to meet the growing demands of the business
• The successful applicant will possess extensive experience in providing application support in a fast-paced environment and distinguish themselves by being proactive in providing support
• Perform leadership role to support App Support Lead covering communications, stakeholder management and manage team activities

Key Skills:

• Experience with Middle and Back office support
• Windows troubleshooting
• SQL
• Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Systems experience
• Data management tools - ZEMA
• Bonus: PowerShell, Python or VBA experience
