Summary: The Mid Market Account Manager role at Vonage is crucial for enhancing customer satisfaction and driving value outcomes within the CCaaS portfolio. This position involves managing a portfolio of larger customers, focusing on retention, upselling, and cross-selling while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal customer journeys. The Account Manager will also be responsible for contract renewals and providing accurate sales forecasts to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a portfolio of accounts with low churn, high adoption, and high health scores.
  • Develop strong partnerships with customers and collaborate cross-functionally to guide them through an optimal customer journey.
  • Identify additional business opportunities and upsell into existing accounts.
  • Perform Executive Business Reviews with customers' C-suite.
  • Develop account/territory selling strategies and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Manage all contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations.
  • Identify customer issues and work with internal teams to develop resolution plans.
  • Meet monthly revenue and customer retention goals.
  • Document customer responses and feedback to ensure inquiries are addressed.
  • Support team efforts to analyze customer base coverage models for improvement.
  • Leverage relationships with internal teams to address customer needs.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative, solution selling to business clients.
  • Prior account management experience or familiarity with customer success organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and commercial skills.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate product and service-related situations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and Slack.
  • Ability to build and maintain solid customer relationships.
  • Experience in upselling and cross-selling within the SaaS arena.
  • Strong empathy for customers and relationship-building skills.
