Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain accessible, consistent, and robust frontend components.
  • Translate designs from Figma into accurate, production-ready code.
  • Implement and extend components within design systems and libraries (e.g., Storybook, Fractal).
  • Apply and maintain coding standards to keep solutions clean, organised, and maintainable.
  • Test, debug, and refine features to ensure stability and smooth performance.
  • Drive timely delivery while upholding robust quality and performance standards.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency with TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of modular CSS (BEM, OOCSS) and preprocessors such as SASS.
  • Experience with semantic HTML and accessible markup.
  • Practical use of at least one frontend framework (Vue or React).
  • Experience with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Gulp).
  • Previous commercial experience in a frontend development role.
  • Experience working with design systems (Figma).
  • Familiarity with component libraries (e.g., Fractal, Storybook).

Your Role

As a Mid-Level Frontend Developer, you will take ownership of critical areas within our frontend projects, independently driving your work to completion. You’ll collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. You will contribute across the full project lifecycle — from estimation and implementation to testing and release — ensuring performance, accessibility, and best practices are consistently met. You will also provide technical expertise to the team, raising collective capability while sharpening your own frontend development skills. You take a structured approach to knowledge sharing—through precise documentation, well-prepared presentations, blog posts, and active participation in developer communities—ensuring high standards are not only maintained but continually elevated. By refining processes, promoting best practice, and aligning detail with long-term goals, you deliver work that has lasting impact both within the team and across the wider development community.

  • Awareness of digital experience platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Sitecore, Umbraco).
  • Experience working in an agency environment
