Summary: The MicroStrategy Developer will support the implementation of a Data Integration/Data Warehouse for the Data Product Delivery Team, focusing on data quality, complex report development, and data acquisition. The role requires strong SQL skills and experience with MicroStrategy, alongside collaboration with data analysts. The candidate should possess a solid understanding of data context and risk evaluation, with a background in Agile methodologies. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the U.S. Healthcare Industry and experience with Big Data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess the quality and integrity of data including Reference Data.
  • Develop and implement complex reports/dashboards using MicroStrategy.
  • Understand the meaning/business context of data.
  • Acquire data from internal or external sources and maintain mapping documents.
  • Evaluate risk from statistical information to determine operational risk or non-compliance.
  • Work closely with data analysts and assist in creating Mapping Documents.
  • Perform data profiling.

Key Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • MicroStrategy development experience.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including 3rd normal form and dimensional modeling.
  • Ability to perform complex queries and assess data quality.
  • Experience with multiple data warehousing and analytics development projects.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux Operating Systems.
  • Ability to understand and work with code developed by other BI developers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in continuous integration within a DevOps environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
